Begin and you will see magic unfold.




I began my journey back to art when I purchased a cheap $55. online workshop.  It wasn't the type of art that I do now.  It wasn't a particularly special, difficult or new class.  What it did for me was incredible though.  It was a life changing event.  



Maybe it would have happened eventually.  I was ready for a change.  The act of starting a class and pulling out my brushes, some new paints and stash; lead me back to my true love of oil painting.





It begins with an action.

• Taking one class got me out of being stuck.
• Buying new supplies told my subconscious that I was worth it and my art was worth the expense.
• The more I treated myself as an artist I grew into my new artist body.
• I became who I always was but I unleashed her into the world and there is no going back now.
• No going back to the "doing" for everyone but me.  
• No going back to saying "That may be good for them but.... I can't"   or  "I'm not that good of an artist"  or
  "I'm too old".

You can do it too.  
You can become who you truly are.  It's not too late, you're not too old...how will you feel a year from now if you wait until then?

You will get better the more you practice.  
Making mistakes is for everyone, you make less of them the more you do a thing.  Don't fool yourself though, you will make mistakes until you stop doing anything.  All experts still make mistakes.

If you start today you are one step closer to your dream. 

When you are in the process of making art, baking, writing, photographing...you are an artist.  



In the process of doing the thing you love you become the master.
