Happy May Day or as it is known in the Celtic tradition, Bealtaine - the festival of rebirth, renewal and new life.

And pre-Cinco de Mayo celebrations as well.

Looking forward to all the wonderful blog adventures you'll be taking us on this month. I'm another Frida Kahlo fan. An amazing woman and an amazing artist.

Let's all bloom together in May!

Thanks June, Bealtaine of course how could I forget. Thank you for the reminder of the day of renewal and rebirth. It adds to the theme perfectly!

What an inspiring post! Can't wait to go along with you on one of your artist's jaunts! I feel like I need to set up some field trips for me here in my locale!

Also, your collages are bright and beautiful, and perfectly capture the color and light of this time of year!

Have you heard of the artist "Gritty Jane"? She is doing a Frida Kahlo challenge all this month on her facebook. I am not participating because I am too busy right now, but thought I'd let you know.
