DRAWINGS GATHERING ON SATURDAY!

Little Girl with Straw Hat and Chicken by denni mulligan

I'm posting to Paint Party Friday even though it's Saturday and I made drawings....  ;O}

Little girl with the straw hat and chicken by denni mulligan
I didn't think you would mind...I've been to the party before and well, I think of PPF people as blogging friends.  I haven't been around the last weeks of summer.  I didn't want to be left out for another week!

The little girl kinda "freaks me out".  She is in a lot of shadow so I couldn't see here real eyes in the photo.  When I added my own version of eyes, she began to stare at me...yikes!

I want to eventually paint her, but now I'm having second thoughts.  Maybe with added color she won't look so spooky.

Here is some color for you to shake off the creeps!

Pastel on Coral Colored Paper by denni mulligan

The shells were done on pink/coral paper and I drew them with Oil Pastels.  Letting the coral color shine through from the background.  I really like the effect.  I'm going to experiment some more with this.

Yes, I recognize the "I need to get this going before any other project" feeling. Good to read you got your services back. Everything will fall into place now.

No electric for a week, oh my thats the pits! Your shells are beautiful! And I love your girl with the straw hat and chicken. I don't think she looks spooky at all, she is very beautiful, shy and intriguing!It sometimes takes me a whole week to get around to all the PPFers so I think any day is fine to post!!!!Deb

That first Shell is GORGEOUS!
I find your girl with the chicken kinda intriguing. Sometimes lack of color can be more moving. Wishing you a Happy PPF!
