Today was georgeous and warm outside...a great day to go to a flower festival...
It certainly was a feast for the eyes.
Friday night my husband and I went to see the Folk singer Dar Williams
She sings a song "When I was a boy" if you've never heard it you must.
It stirs up emotions from childhood that I think is universal for most people.
Anyway, my boys reminded me of that song today...
because they enjoyed the flowers too!
I thought they all were amazing!
This one was special with it's delicate edges.
They remind me of tattered fabric.
I couldn't resist taking a photo of this sweet little flower in her mamma's arms.
In which my 9yr old son said "Mom, don't take pictures of other people's babies!"
I didn't need much photography talent today, because the light was vibrant giving everything a golden glow.
I couldn't stop myself from taking photo after photo.
This little couple look like they're saying goodbye to us .
Hope you enjoyed the flower show too!
