What a great weekend we had...
I woke up to breakfast in bed by this cutie pie
He made me an omelete and pancakes for his little brother. (He is so good to his brother, most kids wouldn't do that) He loves to cook and wants to be a chef someday. He really has a talent for it.
Later, we went down to the beach. It's wonderful how boys just kick off their shoes and throw themselves into the sand. While the kids played, I took some photos.
Then we hit some garage sales...yes, my boys enjoy garage sales (they take after their mamma). I found a Vera Bradley bag for $3.00 and an Italian cashmere scarf for $1.00 The bag's print has been has been retired so it is a rare find, I love the brown and beige for Autumn.
The antique shelf $5.00 to put my plants and pumpkins on.
The sled was $5.00. I'm going to paint it white and decorate it for Christmas. I'm looking to find white ice skates to decorate with as well.
My son bought a cookbook for $1.00 and that evening we made chocolate truffle pudding with real whipped cream. Oh So delicious!
It was nice and cool at night enough to use quilts and blankets.
